From being a sassy front woman, visual artist, art director, photographer, a serial hobbyist in too many things like motorcycles and travel, Deena just can't sit still. She is the braincat behind JONZE SOCIETY and projects Jaguar Jonze, Spectator Jonze & Dusky Jonze.

Deena is known for being both a brooding songwriter and a passionate performer, possessing smoky vocals that shift between fragile and forceful.

She has toured across Australia, USA, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Japan and won the Singer/Songwriter category at the Queensland Music Awards in 2020 & Best Live Act QLD at the National Live Music Awards. She was also a finalist at Eurovision: Australia Decides and for Unearthed Artist of the Year at the J Awards.

Time to meet Deena's art alias, Spectator Jonze.

Known for stirring and capturing the peculiarities of people and breaking the stigma of mental health with just an iPad and Apple Pencil, it's a passion project that she takes seriously. Spectator has done a bunch of collaborations from murals for Brisbane Street Art Festival to designing an art car for BMW Australia to drawing commissioned pieces for Christian Louboutin.

Deena has collaborated on campaigns for brands such as Christian Louboutin, BMW, Nike, Napoleon Perdis, Estee Lauder, OBEY, XLarge, Stussy, SABA, David Jones, Puma, OPSM, Wacom and more. She was the face of Reebok's 'Not Your Princess' campaign in 2020. Deena has also been featured in VOGUE, Marie Claire, Wonderland, NOTION, FLAUNT, 10 Magazine and more.

Deena is an advocate for mental health and trauma awareness and has found herself public speaking at events such as Creative Mornings 2019 and BMW International Women's Day Breakfast 2020. She often is invited to also speak at panels on her experience in the arts.

Deena has previously lectured at JMC Academy in Creative Business subjects.
